Twenty-four acts will compete in the 2010 TAKE THE STAGE amateur talent competition to be held June 4, 5, and 6 at the Whole Backstage Theater in Guntersville on Rayburn Avenue. The performers, selected from audition submissions which ended May 8, are from around North Alabama, and one act hails from Kentucky.
The Whole Backstage Theatre Holds Auditions For JOSEPH 6/18-19

AUDITIONS for the adult members of the cast will be June 18 and 198 at 6:30 PM, and June 20 at 10 AM. Auditions for the 30 member children's chorus will be August 6 at 6:30 PM, and Aug. 7 at 10 AM. Audition material will be in area libraries and at The Whole Backstage by June 1. Singing and dancing rehearsals will begin in late June.

Yesterday June 2, the VIP welcome event was held prior to the official opening of the 2010 BamaJam Music & Arts Festival in Enterprise, Alabama. The festival runs from June 3 - June 5. Musicians play throughout the day into the night for the full three days of the festival.
