Opus Nostrum Dinner Theatre presents HARD LUCK SINGS THE BLUES
115 WEST CHURCH STREET, HEADLAND, ALABAMA

SPECIAL MUSIC BY LYNN IVEY
SEPT. 11 - 26 ON FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS
CATERED BY BISHOP'S HOME STYLE COOKING

Heinz, A socially inexperienced nice guy has a source of inspiration, his guiding spirit. The woman of his dreams is a blond cocktail waitress with whom he is completely infatuated. Then comes an independent entrepreneur who offers gentlemen's services out of her home and who helps Heinz with his problems. This is a self-conscious play about a self-conscious guy who will do anything to win the woman of his dreams.

He seeks counsel from a mail-order minister who has written over 1200 How-To books: Everything from How to Reach Spiritual Perfection to How to Fix Kitchens and Baths. He fasts for three days and three nights to get his creator, the playwright, to answer his prayer.
This play is unique in many ways. An example of this is that the stagehands build the set as the play progresses. They move props and furniture on and off stage and briefly interact with the actors. It is rather risque, with innuendoes making it suggestive but not offensive.

FOR RESERVATIONS CALL 334-693-0846 SEATING FROM 6:30 TO 6:45 DINNER AND PLAY $25.00 ALL INCLUSIVE WINE GLASSES AND OPENERS AVAILABLE
