Auditions for Camelot at Snead State, 1/16

By:

Auditions for Snead State Theatre's production of Lerner and Loewe's Camelot. For more information, contact:  Johnny Brewer, Director - Camelot 256.840.4199

In a magical land called Camelot, we are treated to one of musical theatre's greatest love stories, set against the tapestry of jousts, magicians and a mystical sword. Follow King Arthur as he assembles his Knights of the Round Table, including the handsome Lancelot who falls in love with the youthful
Guenevere. Based on "The Once and Future King" by T.H. White, Camelot weaves the magic of the Arthurian legend, the conception of chivalry, the knights of the Round Table and the turmoil of passions. The treasury of tunes includes "If I Ever I would Leave You," "How to Handle a Woman," and "What Do the Simple Folk Do."

Johnny Brewer directs Camelot.

The Snead State Community College Department of Theatre will hold Auditions for Lerner and Loewe's romantic musical Camelot. Audition dates are scheduled for January 6, 7, 13 and 14 at 7:00 p.m. January 8 and 15 at 10:00 a.m. and January 16 at 2:00 p.m. The auditions and performances will be in the Bevill Center Concert Hall.
