The final entry in the 28th annual Baltimore Playwrights Festival features 4 one-act plays by local Baltimore area playwrights in one evening of theatre.
Titled Sex and Desperation: A Little Something for Everyone, the program features Leap Day by Lee Sapperstein (He wants her. She wants him. But can a caveman learn how to court?), Monitors on the Quad by Julie Lewis (When you start a new job saving the world, just be careful who you trust.), Imperfect Hour by Michael Stang (How many imperfections are you willing to put up with to get what you really want?) and Salt Water by Gina Young (When the lines of friendship blur, a choice must be made as to what your heart needs.).
All four shows are directed by Lynn Morton and run August 20 through September 6 (with performances Thursday through Saturday at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm).
