Liberty Showcase Theatre ROARS back to the stage with THERE'S A MONSTER IN MY CLOSET!, a frighteningly funny children's musical written by Angela D. Stuart with music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur. Directed by Ted McCadden and Lori Chapman, fantasy and reality collide in this eclectic and enchanting musical romp, relating the story of a girl named Emily, who discovers a monster in her closet. She invites her friends over for a slumber party, in an effort to capture the monster. The outcome is not what they expected and, with other wonderfully entertaining characters, the story showcases the manner in which friendship, ingenuity and a sprinkling of magic lead to a delightful solution to the monster problem.

Please join us for "monster magic," as we feature a cast of local talented youth and adults and enjoy musical selections from lullabies and ballads to 50's rock ‘n roll and funk rock. All performances will be held at The Randallstown Community Center, 3505 Resource Drive Randallstown, MD 21133.

Show dates are Friday, April 1 to Saturday, April 16, 2011. Performances of THERE'S A MONSTER IN MY CLOSET! are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays, April 3rd and 10th at 2:00 pm.
