Anika Noni Rose and More Set for Round House Theatre's BAYOU BASH Gala, 4/29

Round House Theatre salutes the cuisine and culture of New Orleans with The Bayou Bash on Monday, April 29 at 6pm. Held at the new Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club, this gala evening benefits Round House Theatre and celebrates the arrival of new Producing Artistic Director (and New Orleans native) Ryan Rilette with:

- Entertainment by Anika Noni Rose, Tony Award-winning star of stage (Caroline, or Change) and screen (Dreamgirls), who will perform a selection of Jazz and Broadway classics
= Honorary Co-Chair Cokie Roberts, renowned journalist and New Orleans native, as emcee
- Live and silent auctions to benefit Round House's artistic and educational programs
- A wine raffle, featuring a collection of outstanding wines all rated at 90 points or above. This wine cellar was curated by Ben Giliberti, Calvert Woodley Wine Education Director

The Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club menu for the seated dinner includes: Walnut and blue cheese beignets, seared scallops with avocado, shrimp and chicken jambalaya, and more New Orleans treats.
