BWW Review: FEAR OF THE EVENT at Tmu-na Theater
BWW Review: FEAR OF THE EVENT at Tmu-na Theater
April 19, 2018

The complex Israeli-Palestinian reality exists in everything in the State of Israel. We live in a temperate Middle Eastern country, with strange and unique people who create a charming and unique mosaic. Noam Gil, the play's author, translated the problematic situation to the play Fear Of The Event, translating it into words filled with laughter and social power.

BWW Review: OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS at Habimah Theater
March 28, 2018

The play OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS tells about a world of only men. Tziki places an order for a new product: 'woman' with instructions. This new product is a source of great uproar - the prime minister, the general and the senior scientist are each trying to claim ownership of this new toy.

BWW Review: JOSEPH JOSEPHSON IS DEAD at Tmu-na Theatre
March 28, 2018

Let's talk about death! Oh! We are all afraid when we hear that word. D-E-A-T-H! We are all afraid of what we leave behind, and have we left enough? Do we live in the moment? I share these fears, too.

CAIN at Tmu-na Theater v
CAIN at Tmu-na Theater v
March 15, 2018

My review will focus on the solo actor in the play- Eyal Shechter. Solo plays tend to fail for lack of energy. There are a lot of reasons for this - none of them particularly justifiable. So I was surprised by Cain - for a long time I had not seen a Solo play so convincing, so unique, so real.

BWW Review: HAPPY DAYS at Tmu-na Theater
BWW Review: HAPPY DAYS at Tmu-na Theater
March 14, 2018

innovation will not destroy this wonderful play of Beckett's. The play will always remain true to its core, the words themselves will not change - it's a question of where the director will choose to sail in his or her imagination...

BWW Review: KING UBU at Tmu-na Theater
February 24, 2018

In Israel, the theater has become an old people's home. Sorry for the honesty. Young people, it seems, have long ago abandoned the theater. And the reason is clear- they are afraid. King Ubu, wants to bring the young people back to the theater - and he is going to succeed.

BWW Review: SKIRT THIS IS KODKOD at Habima Theater
February 18, 2018

Skirt This Is Kodkod is a show all of us need to see. And when I write all of us, I mean everyone! From boys who are going to join the army, to soldiers, and even old people too.

BWW Review: GULLIVER at Hazira Ba-Bait
February 17, 2018

The play GULLIVER is based on Jonathan Swift's novel Gulliver's Travels. After sixteen years at sea, Lemuel Gulliver returns home. Isolated in his room, he refuses to meet anyone, and talks only with two horses that he bought on his last trip and brought back with him. He is repulsed by everything and wonders about the fate of the human species.

BWW Review: LISELOTTE IN MAY at Habima Theater

There are two actors, with the male actor playing seven roles. BWW Review: SHLOFTA - IMPROVISATION SHOW at Habima Theater
February 12, 2018

There is no theater behind them, nor a sponsor backing them - SHLOFTA is truly an independent ensemble cast. That is just part of what makes their creation so fascinating and courageous: full faith in their art.

Let me begin this review with a confession: I am not the world's most ardent rap fan. To those who love the genre, my apologies.
