The 11th season of So You Think You Can Dance debuts with auditions from New Orleans and Chicago on a two-hour premiere event airingtonight (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Next week, the Emmy Award-nominated series continues with audition episodes in Chicago and Los AngelesWednesday, June 4 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), in Los Angeles and Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 11 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and in Atlanta onWednesday, June 18 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

Propelled by its coverage of the NBA Playoffs, TNT swept the competition in monthly ratings by ranking as basic cable's #1 network in primetime delivery of total viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. TNT's NBA coverage delivered 16 of basic cable's Top 25 programs for the month among total viewers and adults 18-34, 15 of the Top 25 with adults 18-49 and 14 of the Top 25 with adults 25-54. In addition to winning the month, TNT scored its fifth consecutive weekly sweep of the competition.

Destination America garnered double-digit growth in Prime and Total Day for May 2014 vs. May 2013 among key demos, including P2+, HH, and P/W25-54/18-49 in delivery. With hit series Mountain Monsters, BBQ Pitmasters, and Buying the Bayou, Destination America earned its best May ever in Prime and Total Day. The network has now experienced 24 consecutive months of year-over-year delivery gains in Prime among P25-54 and has ranked among cable's top five fastest-growing networks in Prime delivery among key demos P2+, HH, P/W 25-54 and P/M/W18-49 for YTD.

For the first three months under its new name, American Heroes Channel (AHC) continues to post strong double digit gains year-over-year in Prime, as well as versus May 2013 in key demos (see chart below).

Max Martini ('Captain Phillips,' 'Pacific Rim') has been tapped as a guest star in USA Network's globe-trotting hit espionage series, COVERT AFFAIRS, which returns for its fifth season on Tuesday, June 24 at 10/9c. Previously announced guest stars include Perrey Reeves, Nazneen Contractor, Amy Jo Johnson and Michael A. Goorjian.

After seven successful years on the air, Chelsea Handler will end her late night run on E! with the series finale of 'Chelsea Lately.' The network will say farewell to Handler's comedy series with a month-long celebration of special episodes and surprise guests leading up to the live series finale on Tuesday, August 26 at 11:00pmET/PT.

SHOWTIME will give viewers a look inside the daily struggles of a group of Southern lesbians in L WORD MISSISSIPPI: HATE THE SIN, which will premiere on the network on Friday, August 8th at 9 PM ET/PT.

XYZ Films and Lionsgate Films have announced today that Lionsgate has acquired all U.S. and Canadian rights to the new thriller OPERATION AVALANCHE from acclaimed filmmaker Matt Johnson. Johnson's first film THE DIRTIES, which he directed, co-wrote, and co-starred in, won the Grand Prize at Slamdance in 2013. The multi-hyphenate is reteaming with his DIRTIES co-writer Josh Boles, co-star Owen Williams, producer Matthew Miller, and has brought on Toronto-based producer Lee Kim (THE CONSPIRACY, I'LL FOLLOW YOU DOWN). Nick Spicer will executive produce for XYZ Films, with Michael Paseornek, John Sacchi, and Jessica Switch overseeing for Lionsgate. Production is set to begin June 30th in Toronto, Houston, and Washington D.C.

Telemundo's 'El Señor de los Cielos' (Lord of the Skies) second season premiere reached 2,739,000 total viewers and 1,701,000 adults 18-49 on premiere night, according to Nielsen. Starring Rafael Amaya as Aurelio Casillas, the series averaged 2,187,000 total viewers and 1,390,000 adults 18-49. The much anticipated premiere ranked #1 among adults 18-49, regardless of language, in Miami and Phoenix and was the #1 Spanish-language program in its time period in San Francisco, in that same demo. Additionally, 'El Señor de los Cielos' ranked as the #1 most buzzed about series on a Hispanic Network and the #4 most buzzed about Drama series across all networks, regardless of language, according to Nielsen Social.

Benaroya Pictures has announced today that they are now on board to produce and finance director Olivier Assayas' IDOL'S EYE, with a confirmed cast that includes Robert Pattinson and Robert De Niro. Charles Gillibert developed and produced the project with CG Cinema, Bluegrass Films' Scott Stuber, Film 360's Scott Lambert, Alexandra Milchan and Michael Benaroya, with Ben Sachs executive producing for Benaroya Pictures. The film is scheduled to begin principal photography in October in Chicago and Toronto.

As previously reported, LOST's Drew Goddard has depared the series, with BUFFY's Steven S. DeKnight now showrunning, directing, and writing the pilot.

Best-selling author Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Safe Haven) makes his television debut as executive producer of the two-hour programming event Deliverance Creek (#DeliveranceCreek), premiering Saturday, September 13, at 8pm ET/PT on Lifetime. From executive producer/writer Melissa Carter (Jane By Design, Little Black Book) and starring Emmy(R) nominee/SAG Award winner Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), Deliverance Creek is a revenge drama centering on a widow and mother of three who is determined to protect her family and land at any cost during the Civil War. Our favorite study group is back at Greendale Community College Aug. 5 when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases COMMUNITY: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON on DVD. The fifth season reunites popular creator Dan Harmon with his funny and quick-witted ensemble cast.
