Nickelodeon has ordered a 20-episode third season of its hit family comedy Instant Mom for Nick at Nite and NickMom, it was announced today by Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon's President of Content Development and Production. Beginning Oct. 2, season two of Instant Mom will premiere in its new timeslot on Nick at Nite, Thursdays at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The series also airs during the adult-targeted NickMom nighttime comedy block on the Nick Jr. channel.

New segments that showcase kids and teens from around the country whose uplifting stories can encourage their peers to get inspired, to connect to the world, and to communicate in positive ways will be presented as part of the Emmy Award-winning 'Make Your Mark' series, beginning FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 on Disney Channel. The interstitial series is designed to reach kids age 6-14 with a wide array of empowering, relevant stories and to augment the Channel's themes of communication, diversity and optimism.

E!'s “Total Divas” kicked off its third season premiere with a pop on Sunday, September 7 (9-10:00 pm). Delivering over 1.2 million total viewers and 821K Adults 18-49, the series was up +15% and +17% respectively versus the season 2 premiere. Back for an all-new season where sisterhood meets over-the-top drama, viewers were introduced to the brazen WWE Diva, Rosa Mendes, and saw Nikki Bella pursue freezing her eggs unbeknownst to her longtime boyfriend, WWE Superstar John Cena. The unprecedented inside look at the lives of the women of the WWE® was the most watched E! season 3 premiere in more than three years. On the digital front, 'Total Divas' garnered 26,000 Tweets and ranked as the #1 ad-supported cable program of the night (excluding sports). Viewers of Sunday night's highly rated “Total Divas'” premiere stayed tuned for a new episode of “#RichKids of Beverly Hills” (10 – 10:30 pm), which followed EJ Johnson as a celebrity Grand Marshal of San Francisco's Pride Parade. The episode, which also documented socialite Dorothy Wang's return to the dating scene after recent heartbreak, retained nearly two-thirds (64%) of its lead-in and delivered over half a million among Adults 18-49 (516K). The second season continues to pace ahead of season 1 by +6%.

Chelsea, with midfielder Cesc Fabregas, host Swansea City at 10 a.m. ET Saturday on NBCSN, highlighting NBC Sports Group's Premier League coverage this weekend. The two teams are unbeaten through three weeks of play as the Swans travel to Stamford Bridge to take on the Blues, who come into the match off a 6-3 victory versus Everton on August 30.

Celebrating Arnold Palmer's 85th birthday, Golf Channel on Wednesday will air an encore presentation of the critically acclaimed Arnie which chronicles the life and legacy of Palmer and became the most-watched original production in Golf Channel history. The three-part television event will air in consecutive hours beginning at 3 p.m. ET and in primetime at 8 p.m. ET.

TV Land is picking up an additional 12 episodes of its hit original sitcom 'The Exes,' starring Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables and Kristen Johnston, it was announced today by Larry W. The episodes will be a part of the series' fourth season, currently in production and set to premiere on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:30pm ET/PT, immediately following the season six premiere of 'Hot in Cleveland.'

Bruce Morton, an award-winning political correspondent for CBS News who also covered the Vietnam War and the space program, died today at his home in Washington, D.C., after a battle with cancer. He was 83.

Superstar duo Florida Georgia Line will perform live on the season premiere of “Nashville,” airing WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network. FGL will perform a song live for the east coast and then again for the west coast airing of the show. This is the first time that a real-life recording artist has performed live on the series, and the premiere will also include the previously announced live solo performances earlier in the show by “Nashville” stars Chris Carmack and Charles Esten.
