Disney Legend Dick Van Dyke guest stars as Goofy's pirate grandpappy, Captain Goof-Beard, in a special music-filled episode of Disney Junior's Emmy Award-nominated animated series 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' premiering FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10 (9:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The episode, titled 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey's Pirate Adventure,' features six new original songs performed by Van Dyke's character alongside Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Pluto.

NBC has renewed its popular alternative series “Hollywood Game Night” for a 10-episode third season with Emmy Award-winning host Jane Lynch, it was announced by Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thandie Newton and Melissa George are the latest stars to board NBC's upcoming miniseries THE SLAP. The pair join Peter Sarsgaard, Mary-Louise Parker, Zachary Quinto, and Brian.

The series also featured Missi Pyle, Jessica Walter, Ethan Suplee, Nora Kirkpatrick, and Dylan Gelula.

ABC News' “Nightline” won the opening week of the 2014-15 season in Total Viewers (1.780 million) during the week of September 22, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” outperformed CBS' “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” by 271,000 Total Viewers and NBC's “Late Night with Seth Meyers” by 282,000 Total Viewers. In fact, “Nightline” outdrew the NBC program by its largest-ever Total Viewer advantage during a week of originals.

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Fiona Apple has contributed the brand new original song "Container" for the main title sequence of the highly-anticipated new SHOWTIME series THE AFFAIR.'Container' was written and performed by Apple and produced by frequent collaborator Blake Mills. MTV is heading to Alaska with new series 'Slednecks' premiering on Thursday, October 30 at 10:00 P.M. ET/PT with an extended 90-minute special to kick off the season.
