CBS News' FACE THE NATION posted 3.13m viewers and 0.7/03 in adults 25-54 – the demographic most important to those who advertise in news – according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Dec. 7. Editor's Note:FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 55% of the CBS affiliates.

NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum and tighten the morning ratings race. For the week of December 1, TODAY narrowed the total viewer gap with GMA by 33% versus the prior week, by 32% versus the same week last year, and by 39% versus the season-to-date average. TODAY also placed first in rating 25-54 and posted its narrowest total viewer gap with GMA in more than three months (since week of 8/18/2014).
