On the heels of being named the first female African-American principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre, BroadwayWorld reported earlier today that Misty Copeland will be joining the cast of Broadway's ON THE TOWN next month. After New York City Ballet principal dancer Megan Fairchild departs the show, Copeland will take over the role of Ivy for two weeks, beginning August 25th.

USA Network announced today a 16-episode sixth season renewal of the provocative and sophisticated hit original drama SUITS from Universal Cable Productions. Currently airing Wednesdays at 9/8c on USA, the fifth season of SUITS, which premiered last week, opened to 3.4MM total viewers P2+, 1.5MM P25-54 and 1.3MM P18-49.

Golf Channel tied its most-watched second quarter ever and served 23.5 million unique viewers, which was driven by increases across the network's live events and news programming schedules. For 24-hour Total Day (6AM-6AM), 124,000 average viewers per minute were tuned into Golf Channel in the second quarter, representing a 3% increase compared to second quarter 2014 (120,000) and tying second quarter 2013 as most-watched second quarter ever. This represents a 44% increase since Golf Channel joined NBC Sports Group, according to data released by The Nielsen Company.
