Every July sharks invade the airwaves during Discovery Channel's SHARK WEEK, television's longest-running and most-anticipated summer event. To celebrate thirty years of this television phenomenon, The Paley Center for Media will unveil the multimedia experience SHARK WEEK: 30 Years of Shark 'N' Awe! The Exhibit. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will run at the Paley Center's Beverly Hills location July 14 through July 29.

Oxygen Media, the network for high-quality crime programming, kicks off a brand new season of true crime investigative series “Cold Justice” on Saturday, August 4 at 6 pm ET/PT. From executive producer Dick Wolf and award-winning producers Magical Elves, the series follows veteran prosecutor Kelly Siegler and her rotating team of seasoned detectives – Johnny Bonds, Steve Spingola, Aaron Sam, Tonya Rider and Abbey Abbondandolo, as they dig into small town murder cases that have lingered for years without answers or justice for the victims. The “Cold Justice” team has worked with local law enforcement from across the country on over 65 cases, and has successfully helped bring about 37 arrests and 18 convictions.

Yep Roc Records labelmates Josh Rouse and Grant-Lee Phillips will kick off a fall co-headline tour October 5, at City Winery in Nashville, TN. Touring together for the first time, the acclaimed singer/songwriters are touring in support of their newest albums, Rouse's Love in the Modern Age and Phillips' Widdershins. A list of dates is below; additional shows will be added.

Netflix, the world's leading internet entertainment service, will bring together 47 comedians from 13 regions in an unprecedented stand-up comedy event series premiering in 2019. Each comedian will perform a half-hour stand-up special, some of which will be recorded at the upcoming Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, with sets also being taped in Brazil, Mexico, India, Germany and The Netherlands. All episodes will be released at once.

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King's best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King's literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

Lavinia Peck-Foster (Chenoweth) is the most powerful woman in East Peck, and if she's guilty of anything, it's being fabulous. And maybe murdering her husband. Season 2 of Trial & Error premieres Thursday, July 19 at 9/8c on NBC.

Reservoir announces the signing of pop-soul singer-songwriter Liza Owen to a worldwide publishing deal. The deal includes rights to Owen's catalog, including her recent collaboration with K-pop phenomenon BTS on the track “Airplane Pt. 2,” off the group's #1 Billboard release, Love Yourself: Tear, plus future works.

Acorn TV features the DVD/Blu-ray debut of the gripping Acorn TV Original Series KEEPING FAITH on July 24, 2018. Akin to Loch Ness and Broadchurch, this thriller was filmed back-to-back in Welsh and English and tells the story of lawyer, wife and mother Faith Howells (Eve Myles, Torchwood, Victoria, Broadchurch) as she fights to find the truth behind the sudden and unexpected disappearance of her husband. The DVD/Blu-ray 3-Disc Sets feature 8 episodes, plus bonus behind-the-scenes featurettes ($49.99, Amazon.com). The Welsh version, Un Bore Mercher, was a huge success for S4C in Wales while the English-language version's record-setting premiere on BBC Wales had a record 9.5 million downloads on BBC iPlayer. The series has already been renewed for a second season. Keeping Faith made its U.S. premiere in May 2018 on Acorn TV. Astronauts, etc. (the solo project of Toro y Moi keyboardist Anthony Ferraro) shared a third track from his forthcoming sophomore album Living In Symbol today; 'Shut My Mouth' is a meditative ode to silence that finds Ferraro singing, 'I want to be quiet / Wanna shut my mouth / Hear there's nothing like it / You can hear yourself.'

Netflix has announced the launch date for upcoming twisted comedy Insatiable starring Debby Ryan, Dallas Roberts, and Alyssa Milano. The 12-episode series will launch on Netflix August 10, 2018. Check out the announcement video here!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Jeremy Renner has been tapped to star alongside Jamie Foxx in Spawn, Blumhouse Productions' upcoming adaptation of the Todd McFarlane comic.

BBC Arts, BBC Films and Arts Council England have together partnered with Cuba Pictures and the National Theatre to bring LOVE to BBC Two later this year. Friends star David Schwimmer joins the team as executive producer. 

According to Variety, Adam Devine has signed on for a lead role in the recently-ordered HBO comedy pilot “The Righteous Gemstones.” He will star opposite previously announced cast members Danny McBride, John Goodman, and Edi Patterson. The series tells the story of a world famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work, all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

General entertainment television network INSP has announced it will move its popular original series, The Cowboy Way, from Thursdays to Sunday nights at 8:00PM ET.  The change will take place when season 4 premieres on Sunday, August 26th. The announcement was made by Doug Butts, SVP of Programming at INSP.
