Lucasfilm and Star Wars: Force for Change today announced Roar For Change, a global challenge in support of UNICEF. The initiative invites fans and families to share their own version of Chewbacca's iconic roar. For each public post, like, or share on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that includes #RoarForChange between May 3 - 25, 2018, Star Wars: Force for Change U.S. will donate $1 to UNICEF USA, up to $1 million. Funds will be used to support UNICEF's lifesaving work for children around the world.

Entertainment One (eOne) today announces a multi-year overall television deal with Simon Howley and Jon-Barrie Waddell's Fired Up Films. eOne will co-produce and serve as the studio on scripted and non-scripted content under the partnership.

Saboteur Media (Saboteur) President of Distribution Mark Lindsay announced today that the company will be selling worldwide rights on the upcoming epic war movie, Danger Close, starring Travis Fimmel (Vikings, Warcraft), Luke Bracey (Hacksaw Ridge, Point Break, G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Richard Roxburgh (Breath, Hacksaw Ridge, Moulin Rouge) and Daniel Webber (The Dirt, The Punisher), beginning at the Marché du Film in Cannes.

FOX has renewed the hit drama EMPIRE for a fifth season, it was announced today by Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

On Monday, May 15, The Neo-Political Cowgirls will premiere A Dude's Eye View at Guild Hall. Presented in partnership with The Hamptons International Film Festival, the screening will present short films created by boys in grades 9-12 at East Hampton High School as part of a six week workshop.
