SAG-AFTRA mourns the passing of actor Ernest Borgnine, who died yesterday at the age of 95. Borgnine was honored with the 47th Annual Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award® in 2010 for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment. Borgnine served on the Screen Actors Guild Board of Directors from April to November 1962 and again from November 1974 to November 1977.

Luna Stage initiates a new tradition in the Valley Arts District when it brings electric jazz and big band rock to its stages for the last weekend in July. Fans of arena rock, bebop, big bands and jam bands are all welcome to join some of New York's busiest studio musicians, composers, and teachers for two days of futuristic nostalgia. In a series of four beautifully scored one-act musicals by Michael John LaChiusa, First Lady Suite journeys into the lives of four First Ladies - Jackie Kennedy, Mamie Eisenhower, Bess Truman, and Eleanor Roosevelt - and the people around them. "Weird, Funny, and Wigged out," according to the NY Times, the piece meditates on finding one's identity and how we all must struggle to find our own way while in the shadow of another.

Revolve Productions will present "PIECES" by Chris Phillips at the 16th New York International Fringe Festival this August.
