Page 73 Productions, which is currently accepting applications on its website (www.page73.org/apply) for three of its signature development programs: the P73 Playwriting Fellowship, the Interstate 73 writers group, and the Page 73 Summer Residency at Yale, will host an information session with its Executive Director Liz Jones and its Associate Director Michael Walkup for interested applicants on Thursday, March 21st at 7pm at the Manhattan Theatre Club Rehearsal Studios (311 West 43rd Street, 8th Floor). On Saturday, March 9, noted arranger and producer, Fred Barton, whose work is heard regularly in concert halls around the country, is celebrating composer Jule Styne on the Schimmel stage. With the scores of such Broadway classics as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Peter Pan, Bells Are Ringing, Gypsy and Funny Girl to his credit, composer Jule Styne ranks as one of the undisputed architects of the American musical theater. In addition to his legendary work in the theater Styne has also made Academy Award-winning contributions to the American Hollywood songbook writing songs for films such as Anchors Aweigh,Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Funny Girl, Funny Lady and Three Coins in a Fountain.

The Handel and Haydn Society (H&H) and Artistic Director Harry Christophers announce the 2013–2014 Season, its 199th since the founding of the ensemble in 1815, featuring the Period Instrument Orchestra and Chorus performing works from the Baroque and Classical eras. The 2013–2014 Season continues H&H's exploration of historically significant works introduced and premiered in the US by the Handel and Haydn Society as part of the preparations for the Bicentennial celebrations in 2015. The cornerstone of the upcoming season is Handel's Samson, premiered in America by H&H in 1845.

Arthur Schnitzler's FLIRTATION Begins at Marvell Rep Tonight

Previews for FLIRTATION, the third play in Marvell Rep's 'Desire and Delusion' winter repertory project, begin tonight at TBG Theatre. The romantic drama by Arthur Schnitzler - the same source material that inspired Max Ophuls' film version, LIEBELEI, which screens at Film Forum in early March - is part of Marvell Rep's three-show repertory exploring the themes of 'desire and delusion' in fin de siecle Vienna. FLIRTATION runs in repertory with NIGHT GAMES, a world premiere based on a Schnitzler novella, and SECRETS, a play about the relationship between Jung and Freud, who called Schnitzler his 'psychic twin,' through March 17. The official opening is Monday, February 25, at 8 p.m. Lenny Leibowitz, Marvell Rep's artistic director, directed the production using the translation by Carl R. Mueller.

President of the Victory Gardens Board since July 2012, Steven Miller has been involved with the organization since the late 1990s, joining as a board member in 2008. In this adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "The Girl Without Hands," narrated by Satan himself, a father accidentally sells his daughter to the Devil. When our heroine cleverly escapes, a lyrical love story laced with devilish humor unfolds. The production features a bluegrass score by longtime Kneehigh composer Stu Barker, performed by live musicians and the cast.
