America redneckognized pint-sized Alana Thompson and her self-proclaimed crazy family with HERE COMES HONEY BOO. In response, TLC has ordered additional episodes of the hit series, as well as three HOLLAday specials (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas). The show, which premiered in early August 2012, has averaged 2.3 million viewers to date. Its first half of the season ends Wednesday, September 26 at 10 PM ET/PT with a special one-hour episode titled 'It Is What It Is.'

The Public Theater announced today that Public Theater alumna and Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway, who played Viola in the critically acclaimed 2009 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night, will perform a one-night-only concert, Perfectly Marvelous: The Songs of Cabaret with Anne Hathaway and Friends, on Wednesday, October 24 at 7 p.m. at Joe's Pub to celebrate and support The Public Theater's revitalization of its downtown home at Astor Place. Member tickets on sale now. Single tickets go on sale on Tuesday, October 2.

American Theater Company announces two American classics never-before-paired on a single night- The Catholic Repertory: Doubt & Agnes of God - directed by ATC Artistic Director PJ Paparelli and featuring Ensemble Member Sadieh Rifai, Lance Baker, Penelope Walker and Kate Skinner. The productions, which will be performed together nightly Thursday through Sunday, will run starting September 27 and must close November 4, 2012 at American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron St. Press Opening is Friday, October 5, 2012 at 7:30PM: Doubt begins at 7:30PM and Agnes of God begins at 9:15PM.

Dry with a Twist Theatrics have announced their production L'illusion Comique, directed by Kevin P. Joyce. L'illusion Comique will play a three night limited engagement at Under St. Mark's (94 Saint Marks PL., New York, NY 10009). Performances in New York begin Thursday, October 18 and continue through to Saturday, October 20. Opening Night is Thursday, October 18 (8 p.m.)

Disney Channel will debut an interstitial featuring Ross Lynch and Laura Marano, Disney's Friends for Change Ambassadors and stars of the hit series 'Austin & Ally,' working with the nonprofit organization TreePeople to connect kids with nature, inspire conservation and create green spaces at San Pedro Elementary School in Los Angeles. The Museum of Modern Art announces that it will open to the public seven days per week beginning May 1, 2013. Over the last two years, the Museum experimented with opening on Tuesdays-a day on which the Museum is usually closed-during summer months and holiday periods in the winter and spring. Based on the success of those initiatives, the Museum determined that its public hours should expand to seven days per week on a year-round basis.
