The Metropolitan Opera and Le Poisson Rouge announced details for "An Evening with Nico Muhly, Two Boys, and other works," two concerts at Le Poisson Rouge on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Three Metropolitan Opera singers-Paul Appleby, Isabel Leonard, and Jennifer Zetlan-and noted violist Nadia Sirota will perform at the event. Muhly will host and perform on piano.

The Comedy Pigs, Maryland Ensemble Theatre's sketch and improv troupe, have added a show to their schedule. The new show will follow Truthpaste: A Blotto Biography, MET's Artistic Director's Tad Janes' one-man show on March 16. The 8pm performance of Truthpaste will be followed by a 10pm Comedy Pigs improv show. The Comedy Pigs are in the midst of celebrating their 20th Anniversary Season. This will be troupe members Carly Ball, Gary Baker, Courtney McLaughlin, Chris 'C-Mo' Molloy, Anne Raugh, Franky Russell, Jeff Schnorr, Laura Stark and Julie Williams only performance in March.

Evil Dead: The Musical is holding ticket giveaways for the VIP advanced screening of the "most terrifying movie you will ever see," the remake of Evil Dead. Prior to each performance of the musical on Fridays and Saturdays throughout March, guests can enter to win a pair of tickets to the screening on Tuesday, Apr. 2, at Brenden Theaters inside the Palms Casino Resort. One winner will be announced each Monday. Evil Dead: The Musical takes the stage Fridays at 10 p.m. and Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. at V Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The George Gund Foundation awarded a $3 million grant at its February board meeting to support The Cleveland Orchestra's Sound for the Centennial Campaign. Pledged over six years, the award honors the late George Gund III, who was a trustee of the Musical Arts Association, the non-profit organization operating The Cleveland Orchestra, Severance Hall, and the Blossom Music Festival.
