Nico Muhly to Host and Perform in 'An Evening with Nico Muhly, Two Boys, and other works,' 5/14March 7, 2013The Metropolitan Opera and Le Poisson Rouge announced details for "An Evening with Nico Muhly, Two Boys, and other works," two concerts at Le Poisson Rouge on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Three Metropolitan Opera singers-Paul Appleby, Isabel Leonard, and Jennifer Zetlan-and noted violist Nadia Sirota will perform at the event. Muhly will host and perform on piano.
The Comedy Pigs Add 3/16 ShowMarch 7, 2013The Comedy Pigs, Maryland Ensemble Theatre's sketch and improv troupe, have added a show to their schedule. The new show will follow Truthpaste: A Blotto Biography, MET's Artistic Director's Tad Janes' one-man show on March 16. The 8pm performance of Truthpaste will be followed by a 10pm Comedy Pigs improv show. The Comedy Pigs are in the midst of celebrating their 20th Anniversary Season. This will be troupe members Carly Ball, Gary Baker, Courtney McLaughlin, Chris 'C-Mo' Molloy, Anne Raugh, Franky Russell, Jeff Schnorr, Laura Stark and Julie Williams only performance in March.
