The board of directors of the Friends of Lied has announced its new members for 2012-2014. The Friends of Lied supports the mission of the Lied Center for Performing Arts-- to educate, inspire and entertain the people of Nebraska through the performing arts. Friends of Lied members live across the State of Nebraska but join together to support Nebraska's Home for the Arts.

The 8th Annual Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival (TOsketchfest) has announced that Bruce McCulloch of The Kids in the Hall will bring his original show, Young Drunk Punk, to the Randolph Theatre - for one night only - on Monday, March 11 at 8pm, as part of the 2013 Festival. Young Drunk Punk will mark Bruce's first solo performance in Toronto in over 10 years.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin announced the cast for The Ugly One which will be performed at the 2013 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival. The cast includes Montgomery Sutton as Lette, Jeff Swearingen as Karlmann, Ted Wold as Scheffler and Natalie Young as Fanny. Near Water's Edge, the New London Maritime Society's first special exhibition of 2013, features artist Denny Moers's innovative photographic monoprints investigating concepts of water's various manifestations in landscape from dams, rivers, lakes and flooded fields.
