ROCO ("River Oaks Chamber Orchestra") and University of St. Thomas are pleased to present the second in a series of chamber concerts featuring the ROCO String Quartet in Cullen Hall at University of St. Thomas. This series is another step in the University's multi-year plan to establish a major performing arts center on the St. Thomas campus.

New London Maritime Society has announced that New London's Harbor Light is the featured lighthouse for Connecticut in the 2013 United States Postal Service's New England Coastal Lighthouses series.

The Kitchen Theatre's 22nd Season continues with Catherine Trieschmann's poignant and true-to-life coming of age story Crooked, in its Central New York premiere. Crooked runs from February 27 through March 17, with preview performances February 27 and 28 and March 1. Opening Night is March 2, and the closing performance is on March 17.

The American photographer William Eggleston (born 1939) emerged in the early 1960s as a pioneer of modern color photography. Now, 50 years later, he is arguably its greatest exemplar.At War with the Obvious: Photographs by William Eggleston at The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents the work of this idiosyncratic artist, whose influences are drawn from disparate if surprisingly complementary sources-from Walker Evans and Henri Cartier-Bresson in photography to Bach and late Baroque music. Many of Eggleston's most recognized photographs are lush studies of the social and physical landscape found in the Mississippi delta region that is his home. From this base, the artist explores the awesome and, at times, the raw visual poetics of the American vernacular.

In Collaboration with Artists' Collaborative Theatre Of New England (ACT ONE), New Hampshire Theatre Project continues the 2012-13 Season with an exploration of the intriguing relationship between identity, reality, and memory.

Founded in 2004 as Active Arts Theatre for Young Audiences, ?Bay Area Children's Theatre encourages children to explore literature, language and the arts by producing stage adaptations of children's books in Berkeley and San Ramon, as well as on tour to Bay Area schools and libraries. BACT's productions feature professional adult performers working with artistic teams who understand how to make theater compelling and accessible for young audiences. Playwrights Theatre will be conducting various writing residencies this spring in Newark through their New Jersey Writer's Project, a co-sponsored program with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Playwrights Theatre was one of eighteen organizations pre-qualified to provide educational services to the Newark Board of Education.

Molotov Theatre Group, Washington DC's only Grand Guignol theatre company, has announced its 2013/2014 season, which includes 'Extremities,' 'Normal' and 'Killer Joe,' and is issuing a call for directors for two of the shows.

Falcon Theatre will present the world premiere of Billy & Ray, the final production of the Falcon Theatre's 2012-2013 Subscription Season. This exciting Hollywood story is written by Mike Bencivenga, an Emmy-winning producer whose plays and films include Happy Hour and Single Bullet Theory, and is directed by the Falcon's own Garry Marshall, whose impressive writing and directing career includes television and film classics such as Happy Days and Pretty Woman as well as his own stage plays Wrong Turn at Lungfish and Everybody Say "Cheese!".

The Utah Symphony and Music Director Thierry Fischer will conclude a season-long performance cycle of Felix Mendelssohn's five symphonies with a concert featuring the first and last symphonies by the composer.

Ilana Levine (You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Wrong Mountain, 'Kissing Jessica Stein') will join the cast of My Name Is Asher Lev, the hit Off-Broadway play based on the best selling novel by Chaim Potok, beginning February 26th. She replaces Jenny Bacon, who plays her final performance in the show on February 23rd.

PEOPLE YOU MAY KNOW, the popular concert series dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the works of new and emerging composing talents, will present PEOPLE YOU MAY KNOW version 4.0 on Monday, February 18 and Monday, February 25 both at 7:00pm at Stage 72 at the Triad (158 West 72nd Street, 2nd Floor - between Amsterdam & Columbus, on the Upper West Side).

The Show Goes On Productions (TSGO) will present a new series celebrating theatrical rock, in concert, launching February 18th, 2013 at 7:00pm EST. RSP has announced the addition of its staff Members: Jak Prince as Technical Director, Tim Butterfield, as Literary Manager, Nzinga Williams as Production Manager, and Jenna Rafferty as Assistant Company Manager & Resident Stage Manager. Each have been vital parts of the past 3 seasons of RSP's work and have contributed in many areas of production. They join the existing staff of Rising Sun: Akia, Founding Artistic Director, Derek Shore, Company Manager and Tiffini Minatel, Business Manager.

Whidbey Children's Theater's production of Aladdin opens at the WCT Mainstage Theater in Langley on March 1st and closes March 10th. Tickets go on sale February 20th.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) announced today that it has released more tickets for sale for its critically acclaimed production of Tennessee Williams's The Glass Menagerie, directed by Tony Award-winning director John Tiffany.

After an acclaimed workshop production at The Brick Theater last year, Dutch Kills will present the World Premiere of THE SISTER. This black comedy by Eric John Meyer will be directed by Jess Chayes. Previews begin March 21 at New York Theatre Workshop's 4th Street Theater. Opening is slated for March 28.

Penobscot Theatre Company and Maine Jewish Film Festival announce a special screening of one of the twenty films being presented at this year's MJFF, March 9-16. This special screening at the Bangor Opera House, Dorfman in Love, will take place on Sunday, March 17 at 7PM. The film is a romantic comedy starring Sara Rue and Elliot Gould. This is a free event but a $5 donation is suggested.
