Guest Blogger: Khrystian Cunningham Khrystian Nichole Cunningham is an accomplished choreographer, actress, dancer, poet, writer, educator, publisher and business owner. Her debut non-fiction blog turned book, Single Girl Gems, can be found anywhere books are sold. Khrystian Nichole was born and raised in Texas, where everything is bigger. As a proud panther Prairie View A&M University graduate; Khrystian Nichole received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/Television and minored in dance. Her dance credits include, but are not limited to; Prairie View A&M University; Marching Storm "Black Fox", Classic Dance Ensemble, the Charles Gilpin Players, Texas Southern University; Ocean of Soul "Motion of the Ocean". Khrystian’s most memorable performances include the 2001 inauguration of our 42nd President, George W. Bush in Washington, D.C., the 2004 SuperBowl XXXVII half-time show in Houston, Texas, and dancing alongside the incomparable Dallas Maverick cheerleaders, Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, Houston Texans cheerleaders and the Houston Rockets Power dancers! An active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Association of Professional Women, Khrystian Nichole currently lives just south of Houston where she teaches ESL and science in the classroom where she has been named a Junior National Young Leaders Conference Nominating Committee Member. She teaches and directs musical theater to students in the greater Houston area for Theatre Under the Stars of Houston, Texas in the Humphrey's School of Musical Theater department. In her spare time she enjoys travel, karaoke, writing, eating out, poetry and reading. As of August 25th, 2014, Khrystian Nichole launched KNC Publishing, a new boutique publishing company.
