Cassandra Chance

Cassandra Chance Detroit-born Cassandra is a writer and actor whose passion lies in
preserving historical accuracy in theatrical productions and the arts.
Taking her love of ancient Greek drama to the extreme, she is
currently working on her degree in Classics, and learning Greek and
Latin. Her artistic interests are widespread and include folk dance,
ballroom, ballet, painting & oil pastels, opera, poetry, and costume
design. She is also a classical flutist, playing for 20 years and
counting. Cassandra lives in western Michigan, and you will often find
her at Wheatland Music Organization events, or frequenting the Grand
Rapids cultural scene.

Romeo & Juliet may be the most famous love story in the English language, but produced by the Michigan Shakespeare Festival and Directed by Janice L. Blixt, deeper relationships are explored. Love in many forms, from volatile Capulet hurting the one he holds most dear, to the defense of a friend at the cost of one‘s own life, to the bumbling affections of a nurse for her ward, can be seen in the interactions of all involved in Verona's ancient feud.
