I’ve always been in love with musicals and movie musicals—whether it was Disney, Hairspray, or Dreamgirls. I remember sitting in front of the TV, memorizing every line word for word, and knowing from a young age that this was what I wanted to do. In middle school, I started taking drama and acting classes seriously. They were just electives at first, but I knew I had to be in drama. I did it all three years of middle school.

The Omaha Community Playhouse’s production of Grease, directed by Vincent Orduña , is a high-energy celebration of teen spirit and rock ‘n’ roll at Rydell High.

Pivot, written by Alex Lubischer, is a beautifully real portrayal of the ways we handle grief and handle each other in those moments where nothing seems to makes sense anymore.

I grew up the son of a preacher. I spent pretty much every single day at church and that’s kind of how I found my way to music, theatre arts and dance. My parents had me in voice lessons, dance lessons, and acting classes at a really young age.

Audiences in Lincoln, Nebraska are abuzz with news of the current sit down of Back to the Future: The Musical currently playing at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. I think you can just prepare to come and have a great night at the theater. When it comes down to it, it’s a love story and everyone can relate to that. It’s a love story between Christian and Satine, but also between these people who love the Moulin Rouge itself and shows all that they’re trying to do to save it and keep it alive. I think audiences are gonna fall in love with the story and also just have a fun night. Just prepare yourself to walk away had a great time at the theater.
