White Night Ballarat 2017 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Extended to September 11

Due to an overwhelming response the Expressions of Interest for White Night Ballarat have been extended to September 11, 2016. The inaugurAl White Night Ballarat will burst to life taking over the city's streets, laneways, parklands, public spaces and cultural institutions of Ballarat on Saturday 4 March, 2017.

Expressions of interest from artists and performers wanting to participate in White Night Ballarat can register interest now through to midnight on 11th September 2016 via the White Night Ballarat website www.whitenightballarat.com.au.

White Night Ballarat is the city as you know it, turned on its head in a dusk 'til dawn celebration of culture and creativity. A night where the surreal seems real, White Night Ballarat is a rare opportunity to experience the city in a different light.

The event transforms the impossible into the possible through installation, lighting, exhibitions, street performances, film, music, dance and interactive events taking place in the streets and laneways, parklands, public spaces and cultural institutions of Ballarat.

This year marks the first regionAl White Night in Ballarat due to the success of White Night Melbourne 2013-2016. Since its inception in 2013, White Night Melbourne has played an important role in supporting local and national Australian artists and is continuously looking for new and exciting artists to work with.
