Tina Arena to Perform at Stonnington Mayor's Charity Gala
One of Australia's best-loved singers, Tina Arena, will perform at the City of Stonnington Mayor's Charity Gala hosted by Cameron Daddo, Thursday 12 October 2017.
The Mayor's Charity Gala will be an evening of glittering entertainment and fine dining all while supporting a wonderful cause.
This glamourous black-tie event, aims to raise much-needed funds for the Mayor's chosen charity, Very Special Kids.
Tina Arena, will be performing a selection of her greatest hits in the intimate setting of the historic Malvern Town Hall.
Generations of Australians have grown up with her music. The child star matured into one of our most successful singer/songwriters with a knighthood in France and an order of Merit in Australia, Tina has performed with Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer and Andrea Bocelli, performed at the opening of the Sydney Olympic Games and was the first woman to win an 'ARIA Album of the Year' award.
"I'm delighted to be supporting Very Special Kids, this is a charity that I have long supported", said City of Stonnington Mayor, Cr Jami Klisaris. "They do incredibly important work, not only here in the City of Stonnington but across Victoria. They support families at a time when they are most vulnerable and I know that the money we raise from our gala will help them continue to assist families in the most professional and caring way," added Mayor Klisaris.
Very Special Kids cares for children with life-threatening conditions by providing a children's hospice and professional family support services. They help more than 900 families across Victoria with ongoing support from diagnosis all the way through to recovery or bereavement.
Each guest will receive an exclusive gift bag to commemorate the occasion and will have the chance to take home luxury auction items and experiences.
