‘Jesus, this is Elizabeth, Elizabeth McHugh, fourth grade...' Elizabeth, Colleen, Maria Theresa, and Wanda attend St George's Catholic School inYonkers, New York, USA, Earth, and the Universe. Sometimes Maria Theresa wishes herfamily would get hospitalised in a car crash; Wanda dreams of the day she'll be famouslike Nancy Sinatra; Colleen reads Playboy, but doesn't let boys touch her ‘down there'; and Elizabeth discovers a shocking and life-changing fact about her beloved Jesus.

Catholic School Girls, by Casey Kurtti, is a delicious, coming-of-age comedy about the childhood ties that bind, the stripes that hurt, and sex education: Catholic style.
