Sally Bowles is the last to let go of the 'old Berlin.' In a desperate attempt to round up some money, Sally throws an illegal Cabaret.

The well known Kit Kat Klub has been boarded up along with all the other popular Cabaret venues of Berlin. Sally has transformed an abandoned house into a lavish cocktail bar for her final cabaret, 'Goodbye to Berlin.' Hidden in the depths of the city, this secret cabaret is set in the 30's shortly after the story of Cabaret as you know it. Haven't you ever wondered what happened to Sally?

Sally's invitation declares, "If you just want to have a jolly good time amidst all this nonsense, then ignore the curfew, bring yourself, an untamed friend, a handsome fellow and a bottle of whatever you can get your hands on, to my last Cabaret."

"In this highly-charged musical play, Sally is garbed in the black garters and bowler hat and cane reminiscent of the pre-Nazi era. Priscilla Armstrong, writer and performer, sings with the gusto and acts with the poignancy and vulgarity this Cabaret genre demands." Brian Littlechild, theatre critic, Alpine Shire.

In this bawdy night of 1930's Berlin, Sally, weaves her reminiscent untold story through a selection of songs from Cabaret, Threepenny opera and Amanda Palmer. For an experience of the sensuous melting pot that is 1930's Berlin, you are warmly invited to The Butterfly Club, Carson Place, Off Little Collins Street, Melbourne at 8.30pm from Tuesday 15 to Sunday 21 August, 2017

'Goodbye to Berlin' is both written and performed by Priscilla Armstrong. A graduate of the Ballarat Arts academy in 2004, her past work includes characters, Frau Votever, and the tantalising Vera Limp of Petticoat Soiree, to name a few.

Leave your good behaviour at home. There will be plenty of time to make up for your sins.
