STAGE TUBE: Sneak Peek - Juliette Burton to Bring Docu-Comedy WHEN I GROW UP to Adelaide Fringe
What do you want to be when you grow up? As a child, Juliette wanted to be many things: ballerina, princess, Muppet. So much of our identity is tied up with our job, with what we DO. But while young Juliette seemed to know the kind of roles she might call a vocation, she grew up and life got in the way. After nearly dying of anorexia and bulimia, she needed to think again...
In this true-life story, Juliette Burton realises her childhood ambitions. With the aid of video interviews, original music, animation and guest appearances from Randy of Sammy J & Randy fame, Juliette tries her hand at the callings she once thought were hers - artist, farmer, baker, pop star. She's living the dream... every dream she ever had!
Juliette Burton will be performing her solo performance at the Adelaide Fringe Festival (February 15 - March 15) and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (March 27 - April 20).
