Events coordinator Sara Harrington said the artists joining the Heart of St Kilda Concert line-up are donating their time to a cause that last year raised a whopping $79,000 for the Mission's Meals Program to feed nearly 20,000 people in need.

The Mission serves over 160,000 meals each year out of its dining hall in Grey St, St Kilda and proceeds from this year's concert will continue this inspirational work.

Larry Ponting, WAl Bishop OAM, Palais Theatre CEO Neil Croker and St Kilda local and performer Brian Nankervis have been curating and producing the Heart of St Kilda Concert from the very beginning. Their vision was to create an event to support the work of the Sacred Heart Mission, a vital service within the community. It is a totally unique, celebratory night of entertainment for the whole family, featuring a wide variety of high profile and up and coming artists who are helping to raise funds for a vital cause.
