QV Melbourne is celebrating spring in the city with Fresh / Take, a program of events that offers a new approach to wellness, living and thinking. Fresh / Take launched on Friday 15 September and runs for two weeks, closing with a public holiday party on 29 September.

The QV Square will transform into a spring garden with fresh events and workshops such as guided meditations, silent discos, hula hoop classes, massage yoga and a Sunday Picnic with fresh tunes from a critically lauded music artist. All events and workshops are free or gold coin donation.

Relax from the working week with the best new invention since...well, yoga. It's massage yoga. Seriously. What's a better way to relax than yoga? Getting massaged, while doing yoga (floor-based positions only of course, with dreamy essential oils wafting over your face). The wonderful people from Massage Yoga are offering a range of free twenty-minute sessions in the QV Square. Times vary, book via the QV website.

Thursday 21 September marks the 'BIG Change for small change' charity day. For one day only, QV Melbourne will be calling on shoppers to dig deep into their pockets and offer up their small change to help make a big change for the Royal Children's Hospital. in what's believed to be a first for an Australian retail property group, QV Melbourne is one of ten Dexus managed shopping centres nationally that will charge a gold coin donation upon entry to the centre to raise money for charity.

To celebrate, the Fresh / Take program will deliver a fun day out for all ages, with hula hoop classes, a silent disco, a sausage sizzle, massage yoga and more.

Kicking off the weekend, Saturday 23 September will see a Melbourne Fringe Festival program highlight hit Fresh / Take: Rawcus Theatre's Fanaticus at 2pm and 5pm. On Sunday 24 September relax with the Fresh / Take Sunday Picnic, complete with tastings of new wine varietals from the multi-award winning Red Hill Estate, interactive workshops from Schnitz's Polish born schnitzel expert Roman Dyduk and live music from Séb Mont to laze away the afternoon as you sup on your handmade schnitzels and wine.

Get into the city early on Tuesday 25 September for a new kind of guided group meditation from Australia's first multi-disciplinary meditation studio A-Space from 7am-7:30pm. Book via the QV website.
Fresh / Take is the latest offering in QV Melbourne's Laneway Series: a seasonal program of eclectic interactive outdoor events, festivals and activations in the QV Square and surrounding laneways. Stay tuned for more events to be announced.

Worlds apart from other retail precincts in Melbourne, QV represents the quintessential Melbourne lifestyle. Intimate laneways in the urban precinct give visitors the freedom to wander and discover the eclectic mix of shops, cafes and restaurants at their own pace. Located on the corner of Lonsdale and Swanston Streets, QV has something for everyone with boutiques, enlightening entertainment and cosmopolitan bars and restaurants.
