The four-peice, Seeds, weaves reggae, african, soul and jazz. It's members are prominent contributors to the down-to-Earth Brisbane music culture that inspires a natural flow between people and between people and place.

They are Peter Hunt on vocals and trumpet, Anthony McIlwain on guitar, Tom Hinchliffe on bass and Charles Wall on drums. They entwines their collective musical sense and style that has been developed with numerous local bands such as Kooii, Kafka, Mr Laneous and the Family Yah and Spankenhide to form a basket of fresh musical perspective and mood. For those familiar with Kooii, they may recognize some of that groups songs played with an alternate approach by Seeds. Amongst the group's offerings is Peter's sweet, soulful and distinctive vocals and trumpet sound that he shapes into expressive melodies; the conscious flowing undercurrent of Tom's dark liquid-like bass playing; Anthony's enveloping guitar sounds and jazz and funk edges; and Charles' sense of African and Islander music infused in his back-beat and reggae rhythms.
