Melbourne's fortyfivedownstairs Theater Announces Highlights for The Remainder of Their 2009 Season

Currently playing at fortfivedownstairs' theatre is Once We Lived Here, the premiere production of a new Australian musical by the highly regarded Dean Bryant and Mathew Frank, creators of earlier successes Prodigal (Green Room and Helpmann Award nominations - the first Australian musical to be produced off Broadway in New York) and Virgins (6 Green Room award nominations).

Once We Lived Here was awarded the Pratt Prize for Musical composition in 2006.

Opening night is booked out, but there are tickets available for other performances, including the previews:

Following Once We Lived Here, fortyfivedownstairs is offering two shows as part of the Fringe Festival: A Black Joy, written by Declan Greene and directed by Susie Dee; and Man 40 seeks Woman with Good Legs & Billie - a girl, a swing and underpants, a double bill by Michelle St Anne, inspired by Tim Winton's book The Riders.
