Melbourne Fringe Festival Presents SCREW LOOSE
This September Melbourne Fringe Festival will play host to RAW Comedy finalist Emily Vascotto with her award winning cabaret Screw Loose. With a delectable smorgasbord of musical numbers and moves, this comedy cabaret celebrates one woman's unwavering quest for love in all the wrong places ...and possibly restraining orders.
This hilarious show takes a look into the mind of an unhinged girl, and features everything from musical theatre numbers to rap. Vascotto offers never before seen insight into the quirky, ridiculous and hopefully endearing mind of a modern day stalker. Screw Loose is not your typical boy meets girl story. This is your girl meets boy, girl stalks boy, girl kidnaps boy, and keeps in her closet.
Sounds crazy? Well, this is one comedian to stalk! Vascotto, after performing stand up for the first time earlier this year was selected as the QLD winner of Melbourne International Comedy Festival RAW competition. Although a newcomer to stand up, Emily has been working as a professional performer for years, with her cabaret Screw Loose recently winning Best Cabaret and Best Cabaret Artist (Short + Sweet Festival, 2015).
Making her way from Brisbane to join us for Melbourne Fringe Festival make sure you don't miss out on a night of singing, sexy dance moves and a teensy weensy bit of stalking....Because even stalkers deserve to find love right?
...Right?
