Impro Melbourne Presents Celebrity Theatresports

Impro Melbourne's annual Celebrity Theatresports is a Comedy Festival institution.

It all started back in 1987, when rah-rah skirts were in, Kylie was still on Neighbours and mobile phones were the size of bricks. YouTube hadn't been invented yet, so to keep the citizens of this fine city amused, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival was born. And the earliest incarnation of Impro Melbourne was part of it.

Every year since then, the rambunctious kids at Impro Melbourne invite guest players to stir up trouble at Celebrity Theatresports.

This year they're back again. And this time, they're in broad daylight. Impro Melbourne's quickwitted performers take on a line-up of celebrity guests in an afternoon of unscripted laughter.

Every scene is made up on the spot. Throw them a line and they'll spin you a story. Bring the kids, bring your granny, bring your pioneering spirit and start your Comedy Fest early.
