Green Jam Returns with Free Music Every Friday at QPAC

Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC) much-loved free Friday music sessions return on 2 February as Green Jam settles in for 2018 on the Melbourne Street Green.

This year, Green Jam will showcase popular local musicians and rising stars, alongside the series' first international act in BrisAsia Sounds on 23 February.

Mosey down to the Melbourne Street Green, pull up a chair or lay down a blanket, and ease into the weekend with Green Jam's relaxed twinkling vibes.

Each Friday will see different talent take to the stage and QPAC will again work with industry partners, featuring musicians from Queensland Conservatorium - Griffith University, Jazz Music Institute, JMC Academy and more.

Gather a crew and make a night of it, as the special Green Jam menu takes inspiration from Korea, with chefs serving up bulgogi bao, kimchi pancakes, cabbage and mushroom dumplings with dipping sauce and BBQ chicken skewers with gochujang mayo.

Heritage Bank continues its long-term support of Green Jam in 2018, helping QPAC to provide regular free performances, and a platform for established and emerging artists to broaden their audience.
