GREAT DETECTIVES OF OLD TIME RADIO LIVE Tours This Month
Preachrs Podcast OnLine & OnStage is delighted to announce that a revised version of their 2015 Adelaide Fringe smash-hit show, Great Detectives of Old Time Radio Live will be touring to 9 Australian cities beginning this month.
The 1950s were the golden age of radio drama. Now you can relive 3 classic mysteries live on stage. Be immersed as this show recreates before your very eyes the experience of attending a 1950s radio drama recording, with scripts from old favourites Candy Matson and Yours Truly Johnny Dollar! Join us for an evening of mystery, intrigue and comedy.
This production features a phenomenal cast of Australian actors including, Benjamin Maio Mackay, Eden Trebilco, Julia Sciacca, and Jennifer Barry. Prepare to be taken back to the 1950s in this entertaining, comedic and intriguing historic recreation!
The show will feature a range of special guest stars who take on a cameo role in the show. Joining the show in Sydney is; Andrew Hansen (The Chaser), Kurt Phelan (Dirty Dancing) and Stephen Mahy (Grease, Jersey Boys). Adelaide guests include; Graeme Goodings (7 News), Markus Hamence (SceneTV) and Mark Oates (State Opera). Melbourne guest stars feature; Dave Callan (A Little Less Conversation) and Rob Lloyd (Who, Me?). Further guest stars will be announced in the lead up to the show.
The revised version of the show will open in September during the Sydney Fringe 2016, before touring to Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Hobart, Canberra and Darwin over 2016 and 2017.
