Fishlace Jones Brings Behind The Curtain to Melbourne Fringe

Fishlace Jones Brings Behind The Curtain to Melbourne Fringe Image

Behind the Curtain is the only show at this Fringe that shines a light on every crazy, ridiculous and insane method used to create the Independent Shows you'll see during the Festival.

With only 6 performances, starting on the 11th of September, this is a must see production from the creative team that, in conjunction with CROWDED, brought Sold Out performances of The Lioness to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for the past 3 years.

You've seen Independent Theatre, but Behind the Curtain delves deeper into the secretive process that, until now, has been kept highly secret. How much do you really know about the ludicrous techniques employed by directors, actors and stagehands throughout the industry?

Via Fishlace's personal experience, this will be a Masterclass** that fearlessly exposes every dank and dirty Independent-Theatre-Secret you never knew you wanted to know.

From walking as a Pigeon through hot blood to find one's emotional truth, to writing scripts specifically designed for casting hot nudes, is there nothing these desperate Creatives won't do in a bid to create the perfect piece of theatre?

Over a rollicking and rolling 45 minutes that can be described as part Masterclass/part Boot Camp, Behind the Curtain is essential not just for performers, but normal humans too!

This show will expose a wound that will end, or save, the Theatre.

Let's be honest, it's not a Masterclass, it's definitely a one-man-fringe-show.
