First world problems are taking centre stage at Melbourne's The Butterfly Club on 28-29 June in #FirstWorldWhiteGirls, an hilarious new cabaret by Brisbane performers Judy Hainsworth and Kaitlin Oliver Parker.

"First world problems don't get the sympathy they deserve, so we decided to devote a whole show to them," said Hainsworth. "And I feel like Melbourne is the perfect place for our debut because you have so many problems of your own - getting a table for brunch, hipsters, Myki cards."

Featuring original comic songs, #FirstWorldWhiteGirls delves into first world problems - forgetting computer passwords, being time-poor, having over-supportive parents and always feeling like the smartest person in the room. These spoiled songstresses invite you into their den of entitlement to laugh, vent and share your first world pain. Politically incorrect and tragically funny, this is a must-see for anyone who has ever had a spray tanning mishap or Instagram envy.

Hainsworth and Parker are darlings of the Brisbane theatre scene and are known for their work with cabaret group The Duvets. Hainsworth recently appeared in Machina for La Boite Indie and Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts for shake & stir. Parker featured as one of the Absolutely Fabulettes in Simon Gallaher's The Mikado.
