Final tickets are now on sale from kinkybootsthemusical.com.au.

The multi-award winning production with songs by pop icon Cyndi Lauper has played to packed houses and nightly standing ovations since its glittering Australian premiere on October 22, 2016. Melbourne audiences of all ages have fallen head-over-heels for the feel-good, family musical hit and its incomparable Australian cast, led by principals Callum Francis (Lola) and Toby Francis (Charlie).

Kinky Boots has generated a glitter bomb of glowing reviews and repeat offenders - some super fans have seen the show up to 30 times in Melbourne.

Australian producer Michael Cassel said; "There's just something about this show which connects with people from all walks of life and keeps them coming back for more. Kinky Boots' universal message tugs at the heartstrings, while its fabulous sense of humour and amazing music has audiences dancing in the aisles. As Cyndi's lyrics suggest, it really does 'raise you up' and 'light you up like a live wire'!"

Following its acclaimed Melbourne season the production will stride into Sydney's Capitol Theatre, with performances beginning April 12.

Based on the movie starring Joel Edgerton and inspired by a true story, Kinky Boots takes audiences on a hilarious journey from a working class shoe factory to the runways of Milan. It features Tony and Grammy winning songs by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Broadway royalty Harvey Fierstein (La Cage aux Folles) and direction and choreography by Tony-Award Winner Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Hairspray).

Kinky Boots has collected six Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Original Score Written for the Theatre, a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album and three Olivier Awards including Best New Musical.

The cast includes Sophie Wright (Lauren), Joe Kosky (Don), Teagan Wouters (Nicola) and Nathan Carter (George), along with Blake Appelqvist, James Delisco Beeks, comedy veteran Glenn Butcher, ZachariaH Clarke, Hilary Cole, Jessica Condon, Richard Crandle, Aaron David, Denise Devlin, Euan Doidge, Daniel Downing, Bronte Florian, Linden Furnell, Ryan Gonzalez, Samm Hagen, Anthony Harkin, Gabriel Ingram, Liam Keen, Jenni Little, Oscar Mulcahy, William Oakley, Liam Peel, Emma Powell, Matthew Predny, Eric Rasmussen, Mark Simpson, Elijah Slavinskis, Mark Stefanoff, Mitchell Woodcock and Lachlan Young.
