A brand new solo show about money, feminism and power ballads from comedian and clown Elizabeth Davie.

Elizabeth's superannuation company sent her an email with the subject line "Grab your girlfriends and sort out your finances". They were writing to explain that, on average, women retire with significantly less super than their male counterparts.

Her super company wanted to let her know they were here to help. Their help turned out to be a website with a bunch of tips to help women save money for their retirement. There were handy suggestions like buying cheaper make up, reusing tea bags and best of all, avoiding divorce, because it's "not only emotionally devastating; it can be one of the most expensive things we ever do as well". They inspired Elizabeth to make a comedy show about it. Welcome to the Super Woman Money Program.

Super Woman Money Program explores superannuation, stereotypes and the social structures that place women at a financial disadvantage, through stand up, clowning and storytelling. Because comedy is the best way to try and explain depressing statistics!
