Elegies: A Song Cycle by Tony Award winner William Finn is heading to the Butterfly Club this July.

This beautiful, touching and often hilarious series of songs celebrates the lives of friends, relatives and long-lost pets, paying tribute to those have passed on.

It is an intimate and moving remembrance of the people and events that touched the composer's life and explores how we all deal with loss in this ever-changing world, while relishing in the quirky and poignant characters that enter it.

Elegies is directed by Joshua James Webb and features a host of familiar and new faces with Melbourne favourite Vincent Hooper (AVENUE Q, HEATHERS), up-and-comers Rebecca Hetherington (HEATHERS, FIRST DATE) and Jacob Darby (AVENUE Q, SONG CONTEST), and recent WAAPA graduates Marissa Economo (PARIS: A ROCK ODYSSEY) and Ashley Roussety (SPRING AWAKENING).

This is the first show for Crying Wolf Productions, a Melbourne based Production Company dedicated to the delivery of authentic, relevant and unique live performance experiences to a broad range of audiences.
