Comedian Jim Davidson Hits Australia 7/1-11, Performs Sydney, Brisbane & More
Jim Davidson is regarded as one of Britain's greatest ever stand-up comedians, and the star of many hit television shows. He will visit Australia for the first time ever from 1st to 11th July performing in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
Jim Davidson has long been amongst England's most popular live entertainers, with his outrageous, no holds barred approach to adult humour. In this show Jim works his way through a succession of side-splitting gags and politically incorrect jokes as he brings the audience to tears.
His many appearances on television include his own show The Jim Davidson Show which ran for five complete series; and the high rating TV sitcoms Up The Elephant And Round The Castle and Home James. Davidson made his first feature film appearance in the Peter Greenaway directed A Zed and Two Noughts and in 2006 he appeared in Colour Me Kubrick with John Malkovich.
In recent years, he is most famous for his television roles on Big Break and as host of the Generation Game. His one man show for Thames Television, Stand Up Jim Davidson was recorded on stage at London's Royalty Theatre, and is a number one best seller on DVD.
