Step back in time to a decadent Jazz Age blues club.

Cabaret diva Mama Alto invites you to a unique and fleeting world: step into a smoky and mysterious 1930s blues club. Welcome to the Jazz Age, doll. The darling of the demimonde is here to sing her heart out for you, despite uncertain winds of change howling just outside. Velvet and smoke, debauchery and treachery, crystal chandeliers and bootleg moonshine, scandal and danger, flappers and politicians, clashing ideologies and syncopated melodies... A world verging on turmoil. Is it so different from our own?

Mama Alto's Blues in the Night reunites the acclaimed diva with pianist extraordinaire and musical directress Miss Chief and special guests portraying larger-than-life denizens of the club, as they turn the iconic Chapel Off Chapel space into an underground speakeasy mixing old world glamour with contemporary politic.

Mama Alto has been called 'divine' (Havana Tribune), 'near flawless' (The Age) and 'a knockout' (The Herald Sun).
