The Grind Show presented by Nexus Multicultural Arts
Take a late-night journey through the looking glass into the dark, sensuous retreat that is The Grind Show. Host Sen Bednikov will hold sway over a musical mash-up of Gypsy, Klezmer, Tango, Samba and Bossa Nova, with each night of The Grind Show promising a different line-up.
Drink to the witching hour with house bands like the dirty Skanky Hoedown, the sexy, South American-influenced Caliente and the intoxicated Golonka, as well as performances by Kev Lymn and a continental music bout featuring Josh Bennett vs Sen Bednikov. Be entertained by a range of carnie folk and underground artists, including D. Licious, Adelaide?s own Professional Heartbreaker.

Celestial Echoes by Siobhan Owen
16 year-old Siobhan Owen was voted ?Most Outstanding Emerging Talent? at the 2009 SA Folk Awards. Classically trained, Welsh-born Siobhan turns her haunting soprano voice and delicate harp playing to Celestial Echoes, a repertoire of traditional Celtic songs. Still at high school, Siobhan has already recorded two albums and played at numerous major interstate festivals. A truly enchanting act and a talent to watch!

A visual arts exhibition looking at the darker side of story telling, It came from outer space... explores our cultural fascination with classic 1950s horror and science fiction iconography.
