A ROSE AMONG HORNS Comes to The Butterfly Club

SET IN A SLEEPY TOWN - a bunch of guys are jostling to 'bone' Cindy first, she's 'digging' the attention, but it's all her dad's fault.
A Rose among Horns, is a story of Love and Pricks in the bush. A comedy of games, of risks, and the archaic notion of Prince Charming in the world where chivalry is dead and even the men want to be rescued.
A one person show, with seven characters, minimal props and loads of boisterous antics that break the fourth wall.
A Rose among Horns is evocative, abrasive and forgiving. It is about gambling on the prospect of love, when falling for lust and deception are just as alluring. An immersive experience that entices the audience into a loud and debauched night of fun, love and complex relationships.
Written and performed by Genevieve Butler, dramaturgy by Barnie Duncan.
The inspiration "I had an image stuck in my head of a girl high up in a make believe tower, with young men 'hooning' about below, dust bellowing up around them - a cloud of misconstrued intentions, expectations and dreams"
