ill Country Community Theatre Receives Gift from H-E-B
The Hill Country Community Theatre has announce that it has received assistance from H-E-B's Tournament of Champions Charitable Trust in the amount of $2,500 to support HCCT's Children's Summer Theatre Program.
For over 29 years, H-E-B's Tournament of Champions Charitable Trust has contributed to worthy causes throughout Texas, and they continue to support our community as strongly as ever. H-E-B's Tournament of Champions Charitable Trust is a special fund that receives its money from an annual golf tournament sponsored by H-E-B's vendor community. This golf tournament provides the funds for charitable projects and programs that have a positive impact on our communities within the areas of youth, children, education and health.
With the monies received, the Hill Country Community Theatre will offer scholarships for their June 2015 program to underprivileged children and teens. HCCT's Children's Summer Theatre Program teaches not only performing arts skills, but touches on all aspects of stagecraft as well.
The Hill Country Community Theatre's mission is to present and promote quality theatre activities and programs that entertain, educate and encourage community participation in the support of performance and related cultural arts. Since 1985, the Hill Country Community Theatre has served the public as a showcase for extraordinary local talent. HCCT is one of the oldest continuously operating community theatres in Texas.
