Support Keeping Music Programs For Children Alive On Amplify Austin Day By Contributing To Grounded In Music

Wanna hear a sad song? Throughout the country (and even here in the "Live Music Capital of the World"), public schools are actually eliminating music programs. No band, no choir, no place for dreams to begin. Grounded in Music's sole mission is to leverage the power of music to transform young lives by creating self-confidence, opportunity and hope.

Grounded in Music works with underprivileged youth to expose kids to music starting in grade 6 by providing music instruction, exposure to nationally known musicians, concerts and backstage experiences. Help Grounded in Music reach its goals to provide additional locations, increase program enrollment, provide instruments to Grounded in Music students, hire additional instructors and create scholarship opportunities for our kids. Donations we receive on Amplify Austin play an important part in helping us reach these goals.

Amplify Austin Day is a 24-hour online city-wide day of giving that takes place at www.AmplifyATX.org. The date for Amplify Austin Day 2018 is today, March 1, starting at 6 p.m. and going through 6 p.m. on Friday, March 2.
