Salvage Vanguard Theater is proud to announce the first MADE IN SVT production of our 20th Anniversary Season FROM THE PIG PILE: THE REQUISITE GESTURE(S) OF NARROW APPROACH by Sibyl Kempson in collaboration with the Austin Pig Pile

This performance is produced by Salvage Vanguard Theater in association with the Rude Mechs. Performances run April 3rd-19th 2014

An interactive journey across a vast landscape of associate histories, FROM THE PIG PILE features original music, puppetry, dancing, marauding, a Yeahoh sighting, and enough champagne for everyone.

For three (hundred thousand) years now, we of the Pig Pile have squirmed, squealed and de-structed our way across a vast landscape of associative histories. At times, they morph together into a narrative structure, and at others, they elude us completely. There is no panacea for feral swine work. The closer we get to the complicated porcine truth of what it means to be human, the more our numbers have dwindled, and we are now on the brink of extinction. Only you can help us to piece these pieces together, before it's too late.

If you have any wooden items that you wish to be preserved for all eternity, you may please to bring them with you to the occasion.

Performances run Thursday-Sunday night at 8pm from April 3-13 and April 17-18 at 8pm and April 19 at 7pm as part of the Fusebox Festival.

Tickets are $20 April 3rd-13th. Performances are free April 17th- 19th with a Fusebox Festival Registration. April 4th is a VIP event; tickets are $35 and include a fancy meal by a local chef at the end of the performance and a party with the artists. Tickets can be purchased at www.salvagevanguard.org for April 3rd-13th and and can be reserved at www.fuseboxfestival.com for April 17th.
