High School Seniors do you have the grades for college, but not the finances? Parents are you financially prepared to send your graduates to college? Never fear, the "Infinite Scholarships Event" is coming.
Award Winning Actor/Writer/Director/Producer Tommy Ford (Martin, New York Undercover, etc.) has join forces with Infinite Scholarships to "Bridge the Gap" between graduates attending college and those that cannot due to finances. Research shows the proportion of new American high school graduates who go on to college - a figure that rose regularly for decades - now appears to be declining (even more so for people of color).
Statistics say "Falling college enrollment indicates that upward mobility and financial independence may become more difficult for working-class and disadvantaged high school graduates, "offers Heidi Shierholz an economist with the Economic Policy Institute in Washington.
Ford says, "So it is up to us . . . we must help our babies. Many graduating seniors I have spoken to via the programs I am involved in say they want to go to college. However, their parents can't afford to send them and there is not enough funding from schools, state or local governments programs." Ford continues, "Infinite Scholarships provides millions of dollars in scholarships (you don't have to pay back) to deserving students." Atlanta don't miss this opportunity to meet with College and University Admissions Representatives for a chance to be accepted and awarded scholarships on-site (with application fees waived at selected schools).
National, Regional and Local Colleges and Universities will be participating. All attendees must register for "Free" admission and participation. Please bring: Multiple copies of you transcripts, ACT/SAT Test Score Results, Letters of recommendations, A Resume and an Essay on "Why I Want To Attend College."
