Ohio's Playhouse South, will hold open auditions for William Shakespeare's comedy TWELFTH NIGHT. Auditions will be held at the Clark Haines Theater, 3700 Far Hills Avenue at 7:00 pm on May 17 & 18, 2010 with callbacks being held on May 19, 2010. Performances for TWELFTH NIGHT are July 8 -10, 2010.

Viola, trades her "woman's weeds" for the clothes of her beloved and, supposedly, dead brother, Sebastian. Now known as Cesario, she earns the love of the Countess Olivia, who believes Viola is a man. However, Viola is in love with the narcissistic Orsino, who believes he is love with Olivia. During his fits of affected romantic despair, though, Orsino reveals that he actually has feelings for Cesario. Sprinkle into this sumptuous stew the ridiculous longings of the self-righteous Malvolio and the jovial interjections of Sir Toby Belch and the fool Feste, and Twelfth Night becomes a romantic misadventure filled with many twists and surprises.

Auditioners will be asked to read from the script. For more information, please visit www.playhousesouth.org or call 888-262-3792. You may also contact the Director, Jayson Grigsby at chawunky@gmail.com with questions.
